Melissa 2010
I am running for District 4 Representative because I'm tired of watching the people, we have elected to represent us, go to Austin and do everything but what we sent them there to do.
This last session they passed a bill that would have given CPS unlimited power to take our children without Due Process. We can be thankful Governor Perry had the good sense to veto that one. Does this sound like people who are supposed to be representing you? Do they represent your best interest? To me this bill, and others, simply says that ‘We the People’ are being overlooked and forgotten by those we elected when they arrive in Austin. We need a better class of representation! We need accessible Representation!
I can assure you when I'm elected my concerns will not be for the special interest groups, or pleasing those with whom I serve. I will follow the Constitution, the Bible and respond to your needs. To do anything else would mean I am not doing my job and I am a firm believer in doing the job I've been hired to do. YOU will be my bosses. I will be accessible to YOU. I will listen to YOU.
God Bless,
Melissa Pehle-Hill
